During the initial session, I will begin by taking a background history by asking you some general questions. This will enable me to further understand and assess your current needs to consider how to best support you at his time. This will also provide us with the opportunity to meet each other, to experience my way of working and for you to talk about your reasons for counselling, without any obligation for either of us to take anything further.
I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) which is the national register of psychotherapists in the UK and I adhere to the UKCP, BACP, BPS, and Metanoia Institute codes of ethics and good practice.
I am also a member of the following organizations:
